During October
Ø Give thanks to God for another opportunity that we have to send teams to Pattaya. Pray for the openness within this nation to continue. Pray for the city authorities – that those organizing Pattaya Praise would know favour with the right people.
Ø Pray that God will unite us as a team as we come together to pray and support each other.
Ø Pray that each member of the team would receive the financial support they require to pay for travel and accommodation.
Ø Pray for those who are going out to Pattaya for the first time that God will empower them to deal positively with some of the sights and sounds that they will experience.
Ø Pray for those within the team who are unsure about why they are going but have accepted the call. Pray that God may minister to, and through, them.
Ø Pray that the churches within United Christian Ministries would stand together in prayer, united in the work and ministries they are called to do in Pattaya. Pray for their ongoing work within the community and the relationships they build.
Ø Pray God’s protection for the teams as they go out on to the streets and into the bars to minister to the many girls and tourists.Ø Pray that God will be working in the hearts of the many girls who already have become Christians or have had contact with UCM/Tamar Centre.
Ø Pray for Fred & Dianne Doell who run Mercy Ministries offering food to the many Slum families and also running an orphanage for rejected children. It is hoped that our team will once again work in Mercy Ministries helping Fred & Dianne in their daily activities.
Ø Ultimately, pray that God will transform this city through his power and glory.
Last week of OctoberLeading up to the event
Ø Please pray for physical and spiritual protection for the Irish Team before they go to Pattaya.
Ø Pray against any last minute issues affecting the programme of Pattaya Praise and that they are resolved quickly.
Ø Pray especially for all the technical/logistical issues surrounding doing concerts / mercy ministry.
Ø Pray that God would prepare the hearts of those people the team will meet.
Ø Please pray for the families of team members who will be preparing themselves for their loved ones being away for a week.
From 4th Nov to 12th Nov please specifically pray :
Ø Pray for family members back at home – that they will feel a tremendous blessing from God as they obey His call to release their loved ones into this service
Ø Safe travel to and from Thailand but also on the very busy, dangerous roads around Pattaya
Ø Pray for good health of the team
Ø God will clearly direct daily situations that the team may face while away and that God will bring about great opportunities to tell many about the love of God.
